Svoboda passed away in December, 2005. He is survived by his wife,
Judy McNeill Svoboda. |
Tim Buck's Mother Eunice E.
Buck passed away in December 2005, in Wisconsin. |

Roger Thiede's Mother Mollie passed away in October, 2005. |
Stan Foster retired from the college 3 years ago. He was a Dean at
2 colleges
and taught Math and Computer Science at 3 colleges. His wife died suddenly in
October, 2005 when they were camphosting at a state park on the Mendocino coast.
He has 4 daughters and 1 son plus 14 grandchildren and 1 great
grandson. He lives on top of a 5 acre hill southeast of Sacramento with a nice
view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Went to nurses training at old Lincoln General. Got married. Had two
children. Divorced. College of Santa Fe. Second marriage, 2
children. Started A-Z Transcription Service. Divorced. Moved to
California.
I use the name Darby now. |
Leeanne Bockoven Call and her husband, Bob went to Swaziland, Africa
this past July to plant gardens for the desperately poor. The program
was "Never Ending Gardens" and was created by Dr. Bruce Wilkenson who
wrote "The Prayer of Jabez" among many other inspirational books and
teaching materials. It was an awesome experience.

Brenda Francis
Bychta and her husband, Dave are retired and are full time RVers. They
spend their time all over the Midwest, from South Dakota to Texas and Indiana to
Colorado. A trip up the West Coast is their goal for next year. Their daughter,
Chris, and family (5 grandchildren) live in Olathe, Ks. so they cross back and
forth, on our trips, to see them. They are 5, 6, 10, 12 and 14. One artist, two
gymnasts and 2 basketball players |

Alice Murkle Hughes and her husband took a vacation called Autumn in
New England on a busy tour for eleven days which had been scheduled far in
advance of the reunion. They toured Chicago, Boston, Toronto Canada, New
York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Ohio,
Pennsylvania and Iowa.

September 14, 2005. |
Larry Maupin's younger sister Mary Jo Connealy passed away on July
26th, 2005.

Alice Murkle Hughes Mother-in-law passed away in 2005. Her Mother passed
away in 2001. |
Timothy Buck lost his father, Elvin C. Buck, on June 7, 2005 at the
age of 88.

Jean Walters Dale's father, Merlin Walters, passed away May 27, 2005 at
the age of 99.
|

Dick Schweitzer's
wife Judy died on February 13,
2005. She was diagnosed with cancer just 14 days prior to her death.
Dick's granddaughter, Heather Marie Gustafson passed away June 4, 2005 at
the age of 18. |
Larry
Maupin retired in May of 2003, after 38 years of teaching music at Grand
Island High School. Currently, he is driving a motorcoach for Arrow
Stage Lines, touring people around the country (something he did during
the summers for the last 25 years). He and his wife, (Judy Bartzatt, LNE
class of '63) were blessed by the birth of a first grandchild, a boy, named
Noah, on July 16, 2003. He and his parents live in Chicago, where their
daughter, Lisa, teaches French to 5th through 8th grade students. Their older
daughter, Cindy, lives with them in Grand Island. Larry is in his 40th year
as a violinist in the Hastings Symphony, and also has a string quartet which
plays at many weddings and receptions around the area.
